DreamTeam is launching what it’s calling the ‘world’s first’ esports recruitment and management platform for amateur, semi-pro and pro teams.
The beta version of the platform will launch in September. Created by Alexander “ZeroGravity” Kokhanovskyy, the founder of esports organisation Na’Vi, and co-owner of ESForce, DreamTeam is based on blockchain/machine learning tech.
In a press statement, DreamTeam says it provides a solution for orgs, managers and coaches who want to grow, manage and monetise their team.
It includes a recruitment and network database, providing info on players, teams, coaches, managers, and practice games or tournaments. Machine learning algorithms determine a player’s current skill level, matching them with other team-building gamers on the platform. It aims to help players increase their skill together.
DreamTeam also aims to offer a mix of tools for team management, coaching, analytics, scouting, media and marketing. It looks set to challenge former Quake pro FATAL1TY’s upcoming ReadyUp platform.
“I am confident that the launch of DreamTeam will lead to a hundreds of thousands of new clubs and teams in upcoming years, and will significantly increase esports market revenue and viewership.”

The new platform allows users to sort out media right sales, sponsorships, players salaries and prize money, all of which is paid in what it’s calling a ‘DreamTeam Token’. This token works using secure online payments, on-time payments, ‘automated obligations control’ and an anti-fraud system.
“With 17 years of esports experience I personally progressed from amateur player, to semi-professional, to professional CSGO player, and then to team captain, coach, manager and CEO, said DreamTeam CEO, Alexander Kokhanovskyy.
“Wearing all of these hats gave me the unique perspective of the challenges players and teams face. By removing the barrier to entry, I am confident that the launch of DreamTeam will lead to a hundreds of thousands of new clubs and teams in upcoming years, and will significantly increase esports market revenue and viewership.
“We have a unique opportunity to forever change the landscape of the industry and make esports the number one sport on the planet.”
