The CSGO Esports Championship Series (ECS) will return to the UK on June 9th and 10th 2018 for the Season 5 finals.
The Wembley SSE Arena in London will once again host the ECS finals, as revealed by casters James Bardolph and Dan “DDK” Kapadia at the Season 3 finals last weekend.
These finals have taken place at Wembley for the past two years.
The news comes after SK Gaming (pictured) beat FaZe Clan to be crowned Season 3 champions on the weekend, taking home $250,000. Check out our video interviews with SK and other ECS teams before the finals here.
“Firstly, we want to thank our fans watching from home and everyone who attended season 3. It’s through their support that we’re able to announce season 5 a whole year in advance,” said Michele Attisani, chief business officer and co-founder of FACEIT.
“FACEIT is a UK-based company so London is special to us and it’s always a privilege to have the best teams in the world competing on our home turf.
“With Season 3 being such a success it just seems right to bring Season 5 back to Wembley next year for our community and we hope to make it a bigger and better experience for everyone.”
Tickets are already on sale for next year’s event here.
