Earlier this month we mentioned the Call of Duty XP tournament in the US which has $1m in prize money up for grabs.
One four-man team will be representing the UK. Want to be a part of the squad? Here’s how you can be in with a chance.
The best Call of Duty clans in the UK will go head-to-head at a qualifying event on Sunday August 7th at Sound in London’s Leicester Square. Competitive matches of Black Ops will be played.
The winning team will be flown out to Los Angeles in September to compete at Call of Duty XP and be in with a chance of taking home the $400,000 top prize.
To enter, you can sign up at COD UK Championships. Some of the best teams have already received an invite but there’s still room for more, so if you think you’ve got what it takes, go for it. You can also find the rules and the latest updates on the website.
The event is organised by long-time LAN tournament firm Multiplay and will consist of a variety of Black Ops modes including Search and Destroy, Capture the Flag, Domination and more.
The Bungie.net-style post-game analysis service Call of Duty Elite will also be present at the event, giving gamers access to in-depth stats and performance tracking.

I heard of this as well. The price is really huge. US vs UK interesting game competition to watch.
