The PUBG Nations Cup 2026 Grand Finals have kicked off today at Jangchung Arena in Seoul, and for UK fans there’s a genuine reason to tune in. Team United Kingdom has qualified through the Survival Stage, alongside several other nations.
The team will be competing for the championship, looking to reclaim a title the nation last held back in 2022.
Can the UK take down the defending PUBG Nations Cup champions to win back its formerly lost crown?
The UK was one of eight teams to earn their Grand Finals spot through the Survival Stage, held June 23rd to 24th at PUBG Seongsu. They are joined in the bracket by Ukraine, Turkey, Denmark, Argentina and the Philippines from the Survival Stage. These teams will meet eight teams that advanced directly based on last year’s results. These feature the defending champions, Vietnam, alongside Korea, China, Thailand, the United States, Germany, Brazil and Indonesia.
The format combines kill points and placement points across all 15 matches to determine the final standings. There’s $500,000 prize pool on the line, plus an additional 25% of revenue from the event’s pass and item sales distributed based on final results.
The Grand Finals have just started now, and run through to June 28th. Matches are broadcast live on the official PUBG Esports YouTube channel, Twitch and Kick, with Drops available for viewers watching on official channels. It’s a big weekend for UK PUBG, and one worth keeping an eye on.
The tournament is already generating significant interest. Tickets for day one of the Grand Finals sold out within ten minutes of going on sale, with 5,000 spectators expected across the three days at Jangchung Arena. That momentum follows a strong year for PUBG Esports more broadly, with PUBG Global Series Circuit 2 setting a new all-time high for combined peak concurrent viewership, surpassing 880,000, while total watch time reached over 7.1 million hours, up 20% from the previous tournament. PUBG seems to be growing ever popular.
Let’s see if the lads can win a second Nations Cup. It’s coming home?
