Riot Games has revealed the Game Changers EMEA is heading back to Istanbul for the third consecutive year. The Stage 3 Grand Finals are confirmed for 30th August at ESA Esports Arena. Tickets go on sale 3rd August.
The Grand Finals will decide which EMEA teams go to the VALORANT Game Changers Championship in November. It’s the highest stakes Game Changers event of the year for the region, inviting the best teams through the year to the event. At last year’s Game Changers finals the EU sides failed to reach top 4, so, this time, teams will really want to impress ahead of the end of year showdowns against American and Asian rivals.
EMEA Game Changers is a ‘celebration for the entire Valorant community’
This year has an extra twist. The Grand Finals fall on the same weekend as the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals in Barcelona. Once the Game Changers EMEA Champion is crowned, the Istanbul arena transforms into an official VCT EMEA watch party. Not bad value for money if you want a full day of Valorant content.
It’s not to take a way for the women either. Tomek, Esports Product Manager for VALORANT at VCT EMEA, said Istanbul has become a “true home for VALORANT fans across the region.” He added that the watch party is designed to make the Finals “a celebration for the entire VALORANT community.”. It’s a chance to watch all of Valorant Esports together in Istanbul.
Fans attending can expect meet and greets with Game Changers EMEA players before the Grand Final. There will also be creator appearances, prize-winning activities and the Grand Final itself live from the arena. ESA returns as tournament organiser for the third year running.
It has been a strong year for Game Changers EMEA. Cash Cups and an expanding ecosystem have created more pathways for players throughout 2026. 30th August is shaping up to be the biggest night of the season. Tickets go on sale August 3rd. Some of the Game Changer players are even featured in the ENC teams too. It is quite nice that national teams are able to become mixed teams too, see Switzerland and Denmark for example.
