The viral Graham Potter faceswapping trend has spread to EA FC, with Twitter/X account WestHam_Central sharing an outrageous example of the trend.
The video shows one of the new celebrations added to EA FC 26, Thierry Henry’s iconic smirk; however, Henry looks a little different…
Henry’s face has been replaced by that of the under-fire West Ham manager, Graham Potter, smirk and all.
The viral trend has seen Potter’s face photoshopped onto many a celebrity, but the combination of Potter’s face and the in-game animation led users to respond, “Twitter has peaked.”

Whether this is truly the pinnacle of this trend or just the beginning remains to be seen…
Viral Graham Potter faceswap trend explained
People have been photoshopping Graham Potter’s face onto
West Ham are currently sitting 19th in the Premier League, in the relegation zone, after 5 games of the new Premier League season.
‘The Hammers’ have managed only one win so far this season, against an under-pressure Nuno Espírito Santo shortly before he was fired and replaced by former Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou.
Losses to Chelsea, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Spurs, and Wolves in the League Cup have continued poor form from last season, which has seen Potter win only 6 games from 25 in charge.
As such, frustrated West Ham fans have taken to social media in protest, photoshopping Potter’s face onto anyone they see fit.
That usually means a footballer from an opposing team who is also not performing well, such as Chelsea’s new signing Alejandro Garnacho, but it has now spread to be anyone and everyone, from Simon Cowell, to Sabrina Carpenter and even to Donald Trump.

EA FC New celebrations
Henry’s signature smirk is only one of many new celebrations added to EA FC.
Others include WWE superstar Shawn Michaels’ iconic ‘Sweet Chin Music’ celebration, in which the player will act out the Heartbreak Kid’s famous kick.

Other new celebrations added for EA FC include special last-minute goal celebrations. Knowing EA FC, players will be seeing a lot of that.
Another new group of celebrations are the Mascot celebrations, which see the players celebrate with the club mascots. EA FC has shown off at least four variations of that idea, though more may be in store.
Other new celebrations include players checking their pulse, playing guitar, or getting in a line to do the can-can.
Whether Graham Potter can be part of any of those celebrations in-game remains to be seen.
