Riot Games has announced that MSI’s pickems are returning once again for this year’s event. The MSI pickems run from June 17th (today, at the time of writing) to July 1st, offering more matchups, big brain selections and other picks to make.

The pickems, which are now live, feature two main brackets to pick your winners from. The tournament starts off with the Play-Ins, featuring T1, KC, Team Liquid, and Revolve Deep Cross Gaming in that bracket. Only one of these teams can qualify to the main stage, meaning it is going to be a bloodbath for the second seeds from each of the LEC, LCS, LCK and LCP squads.
The knockouts then open up from June 30th, with the main event pickems going live. The teams await the winner of the Play-Ins before brackets will be drawn and matchups formed. It’s notably different to last year’s pickems setup, largely down the MSI changing format again.
If, somehow, you’re a predictions wizard, you can earn a profile collection items, with an icon for placing in the top 50% of pickem users. Top 25% will get the Clean Up Emote, with perfect record holders getting Jhin alongside his Broken Covenant skin, which is the newest Jhin skin, costing 1350 RP on its release.
Riot is also reintroducing the community leaderboards for pickems, as it did with Worlds 25 last year. It gives you and your local community a chance to battle locally, all the while still competing for those global top spots of pickem results for the in-game rewards.
The Crystal Ball bets also return, with players able to make some other unique predictions too. These range from most played champion, highest win rate champ, lowest win rate champ, most kills, highest KDA pro, highest CS score, most First Bloods, highest damage per game, team shortest game wins, Elder Dragons, Barons and more. These predictions are worth between 50 and 100 points each. These points add up to their own scoring system this time, with the top 100 scoring players also earning Jhin and his Broken Covenant skin, with nothing else on the line as rewards for high scores.
