When will Caedrel go bald after losing T1 Doran Worlds 2025 wager?

British Twitch streamer Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont has updated his fans on when they can expect to see him go bald.

Last year, Caedrel promised he would shave his head if T1 managed to win LoL Worlds 2025 with Choi ‘Doran’ Hyeon-joon.

However, Caedrel’s fans will have to wait a little longer to see the Los Ratones head coach become the team’s baldhead coach.

Doran had previously struggled in his career and had big shoes to fill after replacing two-time World champion Choi ‘Zeus’ Woo-je.

Yet, T1 won a third consecutive LoL Worlds title after defeating KT Rolster to earn Doran his first international trophy.

As T1 made it to the LoL Worlds final, Caedrel spoke to his chat in disbelief at the situation he found himself in.

“I can’t believe I have to go bald if T1 go to Worlds,” he said, realising he had bet against the organisation that already had five Worlds titles.

When asked why he had made the wager, Caedrel explained:

“Because I made that bet in January, T1 had just won Worlds twice and made three Worlds finals. I saw rosters like HLE with Zeus and Gen.G with Chovy, Kiin, and Canyon.

“And I said there’s no way T1 will win Worlds again, not with Doran. They can’t do it with Doran. I will shave my head if they win Worlds… They didn’t play a single series yet.”

Caedrel wasn’t the only person who made this wager either.

Back in November 2024, Caedrel’s streaming friend Christian ‘IWDominate’ Rivera tweeted out the exact same wager.

However, IWDominate has already held up his end of the bargain and shaved his hair while Caedrel is keeping fans waiting.

When will Caedrel go bald?

Now, Caedrel has revealed when he is planning on shaving his head”

“I’ll probably shave my hair after the League Awards.

“I know you think it’s going to be funny, but there’s too many industry professionals around for me to walk around with a f***ing clean-shaven head.

“I can’t do it for the League Awards, I can’t host a hopefully prestigious award show with all the teams there, T1 is going to be there, all the industry people there, and I’m going to be bald.

“It’s going to be the most embarrassing moment of my life, so anxiety-inducing, I can’t do it.”

The League awards will be hosted by Caedrel and Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Depoortere on November 28th, celebrating the best the esport has to offer.

Nominations are open now with categories such as LEC player of the year, LTA player of the year, rookie of the year, content piece of the year, etc.

Caedrel has promised he will shave his hair as soon as the awards are over, so it will likely happen on November 29th or around that date.

The longer Caedrel waits, the more likely he will be bald when Los Ratones compete in the LEC Versus tournament next year.
