Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has dropped its second official trailer this week. However, the game is still not expected to be released for at least another year.

Rockstar Games has teased a second look at GTA 6 gameplay with fans getting a better look at some of the new characters.

GTA 6 drops second trailer

The trailer gave fans their first insight into two new main characters in the game, with ‘Lucia Caminos’ and ‘Jason Duvall’ the main protagonists for the story mode.

It seems there may be opportunities to play a Bonnie and Clyde type of role with the two main characters in the game. See below for the new trailer.

The second snippet of gameplay for fans to sink their teeth into has provided a lot more insight into what the story might involve, with Jason picking up Lucia from prison after serving time.

Although there wasn’t much information from the first GTA 6 trailer, it was the quality of graphics that has wowed fans of the game.

There also weren’t many key details to get out of the second trailer. However, the gameplay again seems to be turning heads.

Visuals were seamless across the board and with the trailer’s gameplay all produced on a PS5 console and there was a lot for fans to get excited about.

Unfortunately, gamers are going to be left waiting a long time for the release despite Rockstar Games’ initial plan to drop in 2025.

The trailer was released just days after Rockstar Games confirmed another delay to GTA 6’s release, with GTA 6 now expected to come to platforms in May, 2026.

There has already been multiple delays to the release though and the planned launch date should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Regardless of the delay, GTA 5 continues to be one of the most popular games on any console and 11 years after its initial release it still remains the most streamed game on Twitch.
