The Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC), the EMEA Regional League for the UK and Nordics starts this week – here are all the NLC 2025 Winter rosters, including The Ruddy Sack (logo pictured above).
Bulldog Esports
Long-running UK esports organisation Bulldog Esports recently announced they would be returning, by taking Nativz spot in the NLC, and they revealed their roster this weekend.
Their roster includes Mietek, Lulas (who played for Bulldog back in 2021), Kaymin (formerly of BIG and Mouz) and Exofeng.
From a UK perspective they have veteran support player Kasing and coach Kybet (who also works as an esports lecturer at the University of Staffordshire).
Kybet told Esports News UK: “This is the first UK org I’ve been on since 2020, so I’m hoping I can really help them pave a way in the UK. It’s a tough year but think we can give it a good shot at least.”
DMG Esports
Norwegian esports organisation DMG go into the NLC 2025 Winter season with their roster, consisting of Buchi, Bitse, Bisgaard, Faetski and Calmsky.
They also have a Brit, Teatime, in their coaching line-up, as assistant coach.
Kaos Esport
Kaos, another Norwegian org in the NLC, have a Danish core in their roster, with jungler Taxvig, mid-laner Zuhy and support player Rutzou.
These are joined by Brazilian top-laner turtle and Turkish bot laner Fynox.
Los Ratones
The team that are partly responsible for huge levels of hype in the NLC this year, Los Ratones enter the league with a gargantuan roster.
The Los Ratones roster, revealed late last year, includes the following:
- Top: Thebausffs (Sweden)
- Jungle: Velja (Serbia)
- Mid: Nemesis (Slovenia)
- Bot: Crownie (Slovenia)
- Support: Rekkles (Sweden)
- Coach: Caedrel (UK)
UK League personality Caedrel put this team together, and he will certainly bring the views to the league, with his millions of followers across his channels.
Lundqvist Lightside
Swedish organisation Lundqvist Lightside raised eyebrows with their NLC team announcement this week, for having a massive coaching line-up.
With eight staff on their books for the NLC 2025 Winter season, they have the largest team we’ve ever seen in the league.
Now onto their roster: WNTR, hybradge, Harbo, RustySniper and LéoLeCargo.
Lightside are also the only team to have Irish player talent in their main roster, with hybradge of Irish/Hong Kong/Australian nationality, according to Liquipedia.
Nord Esports
The Nord Esports NLC Winter 2025 roster is an eye-catching one.
It has some big-name experienced players in Vizicsacsi, Santorin, NoWay, xMatty and Treatz.
From a UK perspective, they have bot laner xMatty, as well as head coach Just Jon and team manager Rydona.
Rich Gang Esports
Rich Gang had a positive year in 2024 – they were promoted to NLC Division 1 just in time for this big year ahead.
They enter 2025 with four Norwegian players – top-laner Banderas, mid-laner HHNeverLucky, bot laner Nomi and support player eskii, plus Spanish player Nyx.
The Ruddy Sack
Everyone’s favourite lovable UK esports rogues are back with a bang for 2025.
Ruddy have partnered with well-known League of Legends esports personalities IWillDominate and YamatoCannon, for a rebrand to ‘The Ruddy Sack’, and they come armed with a mammoth roster.
Ruddy’s roster has some huge names on it, including Croatian top-laner Perkz, Polish jungler Jankos, Norwegian mid-laner LIDER, American bot laner Humzh and Swedish support player Hustlin.
They’re also arranging a watch party for January 16th at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere.
Venomcrest Esports
UK esports organisation have put together the following roster for the NLC Winter 2025 split: Elijah, Kiki, Lofti, Mauki and Lorenz.
They enter the 2025 Winter season after winning the most recent NLC season in 2024.
Verdant
Last but not least, another UK org have revealed their roster for the NLC Winter 2025 season: Verdant.
They have UK jungler noname, who is joined by Portuguese top-laner PapiTeero, Romanian mid-laner Ronaldo, Swedish bot laner Mishigu (formerly of MNM Gaming and Schalke) and Portuguese support player Obstinatus, who was most recently with UCAM Esports Club.
They also have UK psychologist George Horne.
