Nathan Edmonds launches Get In agency

British esports executive Nathan Edmonds has launched his own agency, called ‘Get In’, focused on social media, digital marketing and creative content. 

Get In will service teams, brands and publishers in and around the gaming landscape, with the aim of becoming the agency that is able to slot in where needed most.

The agency has launched with a steady pool of clientele, with a selection of public case studies to view on the Get In website such as Santander, Summit Sports, Lightyear Frontier, ESG Gaming and more. 

‘With experience leading campaigns for huge brands such as Santander, Chupa Chups and more, ‘Get In’ is well placed service brands both big and small,’ according to a press release on the launch.

The launch comes as Nathan celebrates a decade in the gaming and esports industry, having worked at companies including org Excel Esports (now GiantX), jobs platform Hitmarker and creative marketing agency Hotdrop.

Nathan Edmonds is an entrepreneurial and interesting kind of fellow, if we do say so ourselves, having launched his own esports organisation Radiant Esports at a young age, his own confectionary business Sweet Cabin, and even made headlines across the internet for reporting a drop in matches on Tinder after adding League of Legends as a ‘passion’.

Nathan is also one half of our Boomer and Zoomer esports podcast series along with Esports News UK editor Dom Sacco, and helped run the AGON by AOC UK Esports Christmas Party in 2022. We’ll aim to be back with a new episode from the Blast Premier Spring Final in London later this month.

“Excited and nervous are the best two emotions to describe starting this venture,” said Nathan Edmonds, Founder and CEO of Get In. “I feel incredibly fortunate to have an amazing support group around me and am especially humbled to start the business with work already confirmed.

“The aim of Get In is to be able to slot into a project, whatever size and scale, and support hands-on. I believe cross-agency collaboration is key for the health of the industry, so we’ll always be on the lookout for where we can support our industry friends.”

Esports News UK also asked Nathan Edmonds about launching a business during a difficult time in esports.

“It goes without saying that initially the business will be propped up by my own inner network to begin, especially in and around the UK esports industry which has rightly so had its concerns recently,” Nathan said.

“The reality is every industry has its fluctuations and our industry has been hit hard, it’s terrible to see so many talented people lose their roles but the industry always bounces back and I don’t see esports being any different.”
