ALGS Birmingham tickets went on sale yesterday, and Apex Legends esports fans are already reporting sold-out options.

As we reported last weekend, the $2m ALGS Championship 2023 will take place at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham (pictured above) from Wednesday September 6th to Sunday September 10th 2023.

This venue is located right next to the NEC, which will host the separate i71 Insomnia Gaming Festival at the same time.

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 3 Championship 2023 is essentially the game’s biggest tournament of the year.

How to get ALGS Birmingham tickets and how much ticket prices are

Prices for ALGS Birmingham tickets start from £25.40 for general admission, though after fees, this rises to almost £30 (to be precise, £28.35, or £29.35 with postage).

There’s also a premium seating ticket option available (though it’s not fully clear what exactly this will get you), starting at £31, or £33.95 after fees, and £34.95 with postage.

These prices are set for the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. However, for the finals weekend, the prices rise.

For the Saturday, general admission is £42.30 and premium seating is £48. For Sunday, general admission is £53.60, and premium seating is £59.30.

Premium seating options for the weekend appear to have sold out online. There’s also a five-day pass, costing £125 for general admission, with the premium option also sold out.

Some people also seem to have bought tickets early, because they spent £40 extra on the arena’s own subscription. There was also some confusion from fans online who wasn’t aware what Insomnia is and why it’s now in the mix (see section below).

When asked by Esports News UK last weekend if there will be different ticketing options including types for meet and greets, EA replied: “I think we have to work that out still, in terms of what the ticketing strategy looks like and the different opportunities for fans to engage. But we’ll definitely be putting together some pretty awesome experiences. We don’t know what the ticketing strategy is, but we hope to offer as many awesome experiences for our fans as possible.”

You can get ALGS Birmingham tickets from The Ticket Factory website.

Bag policy for ALGS Birmingham

It’s also worth noting the following if you’re planning on grabbing some ALGS Birmingham tickets.

The Resorts World Arena bag policy states that a visitor’s bag must be no bigger than A4 in size (21cm x 30cm x 19cm), and have a maximum of two compartments.

Rucksacks are not permitted either, so it’s worth bearing that in mind.
