ESL Faceit Group and presenting partner Elgiganten’s DreamHack Summer 2023 will feature a $250,000 Fornite tournament, CS2 Creator Showmatch and more.
Taking place from June 16th to 18th 2023 (with the LAN also running to June 19th) at the Elmia Congress Center in Jönköping, Sweden, the event will bring the community together for another gaming festival.
$250,000 Fortnite tournament at DreamHack Summer 2023
The DreamHack Open Featuring Fortnite is a Zero Build Duos competition that debuted at DreamHack San Diego, and is now bringing its third and final installation to DreamHack Summer 2023.
Available to all BYOC ticket holders, the three-day competition provides an opportunity for attendees of all skill levels to test their mettle and clash for $250,000 in prize money.
The top 10 duos will also qualify for Gamers8 Featuring Fortnite, a $2m event taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 28th to 31st.
The ESL StarCraft II Masters
Following the Online Regionals, the ESL StarCraft® II Masters Finals take place live at DreamHack Summer 2023 featuring a prize pool of $75,000.
Participation in the ESL Masters competition can be achieved through two routes: Qualify through the regional competitions and secure a paid trip and seeding into the deep stages of the competition; or register for the 32 slots available in the early stages of the competition.
To keep the highest level of competition, the open slots will be filled by ESL Pro Tour points order. The first deadline for all the participants to display interest in joining is May 25th. Those not traveling down to Jönköping but still looking forward to the action can tune in during the live broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube.
Finals of CSGO Svenska Elitserien
Swedish Elitserien, a significant domestic league in CSGO, returns at DreamHack Summer 2023.
Visitors can watch both established and aspiring teams of Swedish CSGO compete live on the LAN stage across the weekend.

- DreamHack Summer 2023 will feature a Counter-Strike 2 Creator Showmatch, set to demonstrate the skills of some of the world’s top esports players, on LAN Tournament stage on Friday
- DreamHack Cakeoff will take over the LAN Stage on Friday, with some of the biggest creators in Sweden showing off their baking skills
The news comes after smooya took part in a showmatch at the Paris Major final on the weekend.

DreamHack Summer 2023 will also feature a ready-to-play area, with challenges in games like CS2, a tabletop area with casual tournaments and Magic: The Gathering events and giveaways, a Battle Zone with Nerf guns, Lego Builders Zone, 25,000 SEK Cosplay Championship on Saturday June 17th from 5pm CEST, plus a Cosplay Parade, panels and workshops.
There will also be live music with acts including Soundrush, John De Sohn, Altego, Rebecca & Fiona, Albin Myers, Primeshock and more to be announced.
Tickets start at 169 SEK for a single day and 449 SEK for three-day access, with more information available on the DreamHack Summer 2023 website.
