The RSC x ERS Rocket League Esports Organisation has announced that it will be hosting a tournament at Insomnia Gaming Festival i70 in early April 2023.
The event will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on Sunday April 9th within the BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) area, and will be streamed live on their official Twitch channel.
The tournament will feature some of the best teams from both the ERSC Rocket League Esports Organisation and the official Insomnia esports tournament, giving fans the opportunity to witness high level competition at the well-known UK gaming festival.
It will have an initial prize pool of £300 and will be the biggest in-person event the RSC x ERS leagues have held so far.
The RSC x ERS tournament was approved by Insomnia organisers Player1Events following meetings. The Rocket Soccar Confederation EU (RSC EU) and Euro Rocket Series (ERS) have been allocated a small space and streaming area within the BYOC area at i70.
The RSC x ERS competition joins other esports tournaments at i70 including a £10,000 Valorant i70 tournament.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting a tournament at Insomnia Gaming Festival 2023,” said head admin Adam Binns on behalf of ERSC.
“The festival is always a highlight on the gaming calendar, and we can’t wait to showcase some of the top Rocket League talent from our league and beyond. It is one of only two official i70 BYOC LANs for Rocket League and we are hopeful players from the main event on the Saturday will compete on the Sunday.”
