UK esports organisation Into the Breach had a good end to the year after winning the Trackmania World Tour 2023 Showdown event in dominant fashion.
This tournament took place online on December 17th and 18th 2022 as the first event of the Trackmania World Tour 2023. It was a showcase event designed to demonstrate the new format for Trackmania’s global leagues.
Eight teams took part – Alliance, Sinners Esports, BDS, BIG, Karmine Corp, Solary, Gamers First and UK org Into the Breach.
Into the Breach topped Group B with three wins and zero losses, before progressing through the playoffs and beating Alliance 4-0 in the final.
Into the Breach’s drivers mime (Poland) and elconn (Czechia) took home the gold, while several thousands tuned in to watch the competition.
Back in October 2022, Into the Breach named a partner team in Trackmania Grand League as the game adopted a 2v2 format.
The Trackmania World Tour will be an annual esports circuit featuring the Trackmania Grand League (TMGL) and the Trackmania Challenger League (TMCL), plus regional tournaments in NCSA, APAC, MEA and EU, as well as the annual Trackmania World Championship (TMWC).

Into the Breach had a solid year in 2022, winning the likes of the Assembly Summer CSGO LAN in Finland, the Insomnia 68 CSGO LAN in Birmingham and both the A1 Esports and Switzerlan Valorant finals.
