UK esports organisation Method have announced details of their latest World of Warcraft (WoW) Race to World First, as their founder Sco stops raiding.
Method made the announcement via a video and press pack, following the launch of the latest WoW expansion, Dragonflight.
The first raid in Dragonflight will be the Vault of the Incarnates, and once again Method will run a stream for fans to watch their progress. They aim to be the first guild to complete the new raid – which opens next week – on Mythic difficulty.
The broadcast will go live on Method’s Twitch channel from Wednesday December 14th 2022 from 3am GMT.
The stream will remain on until the final boss of the raid tier, Raszageth the Storm-Eater, has been defeated.
In the most recent WoW Race to World First, the Sepulcher of the First Ones, Method finished second and Echo claimed first place.

Sco steps back from raiding
Method founder Scott ‘Sco’ McMillan recently announced his retirement from raiding, as he will instead focus on managing.
He’s stepping back as a tank player from the raid team.
In an announcement video (linked below), Sco said: “I’ll still be very much supporting the guild from the sidelines, kind of like what I’ve always been doing, making sure that the right infrastructure and people are in place to achieve our objective which is to get back and compete for that 13th world first for Method. And believe me when I say that, I’m more passionate for that than ever before.
“I will not go to my deathbed before Method gets that 13th world first, no matter how long it takes!” Sco added.
“I’m not going anywhere and you will still see me around. Thanks for the continued support and I look forward to Dragonflight. One of my biggest purposes in life is to reclaim the [world first] throne at some point in time.”
Sco said the reason for it is the time commitment, and the challenge of raiding while also managing Method.
Andybrew and Morana will replace Sco as tanks.
