The three teams from the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) heading to the Amazon European (EU) Masters have been confirmed.

The NLC is the European Regional League (ERL) for the UK, Ireland and Nordics, and recently the NLC received a third EU Masters seed, meaning three teams would progress to the European tournament instead of the usual two.

Those three teams for the Summer 2022 EU Masters have been confirmed – they are Iceland’s Dusty, the Isle of Man’s X7 Esports and London’s Excel Esports academy team JD XL.

Two of those teams – the finalists of the ongoing NLC Division 1 Summer 2022 playoffs – will head to the Main Stage of the EU Masters, while the third-placed side will reach the play-ins.

It’s not yet been confirmed which team will end up where – JD XL will play X7 in the semi-final on Monday August 15th 2022, and the winner of that will play Dusty in the NLC playoffs final on Saturday August 20th 2022.

Dusty won the NLC Division 1 regular season and qualified for the playoffs, along with JD XL, X7, Riddle, Astralis Talent and Bifrost, with the latter three getting knocked out of the playoffs.

In round one of the playoffs, X7 beat Bifrost 3-1 and Astralis beat Riddle 3-1, with Dusty beating JD XL 3-2 in round two and X7 beating Astralis 3-0.

In other EU Masters news, current back-to-back-to-back holders Karmine Corp from France have failed to qualify. GameWard smashed KC to prevent them from reaching EU Masters.
