PC gaming hardware and accessories specialist AOC has expanded its gaming line-up across the entry-level AOC Gaming, levelling up brand AGON by AOC and professional grade AGON PRO brands.

This entire ecosystem across mice, keyboards, headsets and monitors aims to give players and esports fans everything they need to get gaming.

First up, AGON by AOC is expanding its gaming peripherals portfolio with two new mice (AOC GM510 and GM530) and a wireless headset (AOC GH401).

Equipped with high quality Pixart sensors and well-thought-out design features, including customisable RGB Light FX, each of these mice make great additions to the inventory of beginner, core as well as hardcore gamers.

And for those gamers who want to be unhindered by cables when communicating with teammates, the GH401 gaming headset uses 2.4 GHz wireless technology to transfer audio and offers clear and punchy sound with bass boost thanks to its 50 mm neodymium drivers.

Precision at your fingertips with AOC Gaming mice

Only recently, the entire gaming portfolio was rebranded under the “AGON by AOC” umbrella, serving gamers of all levels in three categories – entry level adventurers (AOC GAMING), ambitious heroes (AGON), and professional legends (AGON PRO).

AGON by AOC’s gaming peripherals portfolio already includes three gaming mice for different skill-levels, the entry-level GM200, the Nvidia Reflex certified mid-level GM500 for extra low latency, and the premium AGON AGM700 mouse with its removable weights for fine-tuning. Now, the GM530 and GM510 join the 500-series gaming mice in the AOC GAMING category.

The AOC GAMING GM530 is a highly ergonomic right-handed mouse with dual-injected silicone side grips which help gamers to hold the mouse in place and track their target in pro game lobbies where they have to be extra precise. Its high-end Pixart PMW3389 sensor tracks precisely with 16000 true DPI. The mouse employs Kailh switches for exceptional “clicky” feedback and fast responses with a high durability (80 million clicks rated) fit for pros.

The skin-friendly matte UV coating of the front surface is comfortable and feels exquisite to the touch. In addition to the primary left/right buttons and the wheel button, the AOC GM530 employs two thumb buttons on the left and two additional buttons below the wheel. The buttons are fully customisable thanks to the AOC G-Menu software, which also allows two distinctive RGB zones of the mouse to synchronise with the Light FX RGB lighting from rest of the AGON ecosystem. The GM530 comes with a braided cable and a gold-plated USB connector.

The GM510 is a right-handed mouse with a unique honeycomb pattern, making it very light, weighing just 58g (without the cable). Since the mouse is so lightweight, it takes almost no effort to move it with quick reflexes in tight situations, which sometimes means a win or a defeat in a competitive FPS title.

The ventilated shell design also makes it less likely to get sweaty and slippery, perfect during hot summers. Just like the GM530, the GM510 uses durable (80 million clicks), tactile and comfortable Kailh switches and the same high-end Pixart sensor as the GM530 to track movement accurately, even during high acceleration manoeuvres. The six buttons (including two thumb buttons) are fully customisable with the AOC G-Menu software and the single RGB zone can be synchronised with other AGON gear, too.

The gaming mice AOC GM530 and GM510 will be available from November 2021 at the RRPs of £37.99 and £35.99, respectively.

Listen to the footsteps of heroes with AOC GAMING’s versatile GH401

AGON by AOC launched two wired gaming headsets in March, the GH200 with a 3.5 mm jack and stereo sound, and the GH300 with a USB connection and 7.1 virtual surround sound. Both headsets employ 50 mm neodymium drivers to deliver rich, clear sound in a frequency range of 20 Hz – 20 kHz.

Now, for gamers looking for more freedom of movement during intense gaming sessions, AGON by AOC offers the new wireless gaming headset AOC GAMING GH401, which uses 2.4 GHz wireless technology reaching up to 10 meters. It can also be connected with a 3.5 mm stereo jack if wireless connection is not required, making it the king of both worlds. The built-in battery is capable of delivering sound for 17 hours (at a 50% volume setting) and can be charged via the modern USB-C connection.

The GH401 is also equipped with the same 50 mm neodymium driver praised for its clean and high-fidelity sound, and fitted with the same comfortable leatherette protein coating and memory foam as the GH200 and GH300, making it fit for long gaming sessions. The detachable, noise cancelling boom microphone can be adjusted for comfort and optimum distance for clean speech, while the on-board controls offer easy access to mute and volume buttons. The GH401 is compatible with PC, PS4 and PS5.

The gaming headset AOC GH401 will also be available from November 2021 at an RRP of £67.99.

New AGON PRO monitors up to 240Hz launch with HDR and fast IPS panels

AGON by AOC has also expanded its AGON PRO line-up aimed at competitive players and introduces a trio of monitors: the 68.6 cm (27″) AG274QXM (QHD @ 170 Hz), which employs a Mini LED IPS panel with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, the 27″ AG274UXP (4K @ 144 Hz) and the 27″ AG274QG (QHD @ 240 Hz), both 4-side frameless monitors equipped with fast IPS panels and VESA DisplayHDR 600 support.

Gaming at the competitive level requires high refresh rates and extremely responsive displays. On the other hand, story-driven, slower-paced games with beautiful visuals are best enjoyed when enhanced by wide gamut HDR displays. AGON PRO delivers a combination of all in one package: high-speed, responsive panels (up to 240 Hz and 1 ms GtG), high resolution (QHD or 4K) and true VESA certified HDR support (DisplayHDR 600 or DisplayHDR 1000).

Gaming without compromises

The 27″ AGON by AOC AG274QXM monitor employs an award-winning design (Red Dot Design Award) and comes with a monitor shield (Shadow Shield) to reduce reflections from sunlight or bright stage lights. The Mini LED backlight technology and a fast IPS panel with a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) offers 576 dimming zones for DisplayHDR 1000 support to achieve a minimised halo effect and better brightness uniformity compared to edge-lit HDR displays, while reducing the monitor’s thickness.

The high-tier VESA certified DisplayHDR 1000 ensures a peak brightness of 1000 nits and deep, inky black levels, all within the same frame. Capable of 1.07 billion colours and with a DCI-P3 gamut area of 99%, the AG274QXM offers a superb colour experience.

Gamers from all levels, particularly competitive gamers, will appreciate the monitor’s 170 Hz refresh rate with 1 ms GtG for silky-smooth visuals. With its G-Sync compatibility, the monitor offers stutter- and tearing-free gameplay even with HDR turned on.

The 27″ AGON by AOC AG274UXP monitor is equipped with a Nano IPS panel with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) to deliver extremely sharp images with its 163 PPI pixel density. By combining a 4K resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms GtG response time, the monitor fully delivers on the competitive front. The colour-accurate monitor offers VESA DisplayHDR 600 for rich, bright and dynamic visuals by featuring a very high brightness, 1.07 billion colours and covering 98% of the DCI-P3 gamut area.

The monitor has a 4-side frameless design for the extra sleek look, which received the Red Dot Design Award, and it also comes with a Shadow Shield. Thanks to its HDMI 2.1 support, the AG274UXP is fully compatible with the new-gen consoles, which can output 4K @ 120 Hz and can support variable refresh rate. Tearing and stuttering both on consoles and PC is eliminated as it is G-Sync compatible.

For most hardcore gamers and esports players who need the highest frames per second they can get, but still don’t want to compromise on colour fidelity, the G-Sync Ultimate monitor AG274QG is just perfect. The 27″ AGON by AOC AG274QG monitor features a fast IPS panel with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz to deliver both incredibly detailed and butter-smooth gameplay.

With a response time of 1 ms GtG, ghosting is virtually non-existent, and latency-aficionados can even measure their system latency thanks to the built-in Nvidia Reflex Analyzer. By connecting a Reflex-supported mouse such as AOC’s GM500, the analyser can give users instant feedback on the system latency.

Rich, vivid images are also one of the AG274QG’s strengths. With 1.07 billion colours, a 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 area, the AG274QG is also VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and displays eye-watering bright sunlight and scary deep shadows at the same time. The Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate certification means that the monitor employs a top-notch Nvidia G-Sync processor to guarantee lifelike HDR, excellent contrast and ultra-low latency for a spectacular, immersive gaming experience. The monitor also features the same award-winning design and the Shadow Shield.

All three monitors are equipped with a 120 mm height-adjustable and versatile stand for comfortable gaming sessions. A 4-port USB 3.2 hub is built in, to help gamers connect their peripherals such as keyboards, mice, streaming lights or webcams.

The monitors feature the RGB illumination (Light FX) and AGON logo projection introduced in previous AGON PRO models to increase personalisation. The QuickSwitch controller, a wired remote, is featured with all models to easily adjust game-specific features in the OSD. The OSD can also be controlled on the monitor itself or using the G-Menu software (AG274QXM and AG274UXP).

To complete the audio-visual experience, all models have two 5 W speakers supporting DTS for clear and rich sound. The AG274QXM and AG274UXP feature USB-C connection (65 W power delivery) and a built-in KVM switch. For content creators and live streamers who use multiple computers, this feature makes it easy to switch between two PCs while using the same monitor and peripherals, or to mirror their smartphones via USB-C when streaming mobile games. The AG274UXP also offers a Picture-by-Picture mode.

The AGON PRO AG274QXM will be available from October 2021 at the RRP of £849.99.

The AGON PRO AG274UXP will be available from February 2022 at the RRP of £769.99.

The AGON PRO AG274QG will be available from February 2022 – price tbc.
