Update (January 2022): Revolution Esports has now dissolved and has shut down as a company, as can be seen on Companies House.
UPDATE (April 15th 2021): SAF has announced it has parted ways with Revolution Esports around the ‘On The Hunt’ campaign.
SAF said on Twitter: “Unfortunately, we regret to inform our community that the management team at SAF have decided to withdraw from our role in the “On the Hunt” campaign. Over the past couple of weeks, we have learnt that the project is not quite what we anticipated and therefore we have decided to leave the project on good terms with Revolution Esports. Although this decision was tough, we had SAF and our community’s best interests at heart.”

Two UK companies have joined forces in a bid to bolster the local FIFA ecosystem.
Agency Revolution Esports and FIFA gaming community Serious About FIFA (SAF) – which has more than 350,000 followers – have signed a three-year deal to support talent and create sustainability in FIFA esports.
FIFA is of course one of the most popular gaming franchises, and the UK produces some top talent within the game, from casters like Richard Buckley and Brandon Smith to players including Tekkz, Shellz, Ryan Pessoa and lots more.
Building on this, the partnership between Revolution and SAF hopes to find the FIFA stars of tomorrow.
SAF will be able to utilise the infrastructure that Revolution Esports will be providing through its facilities, equipment, education and brand partnerships.
SAF will offer advice and expertise for FIFA talent identified through the project, including social support, performance coaching, content production and player/talent contracts.
Adam Johnson, CEO and founder at Revolution Esports, commented: “We have long known there is an abundance of untapped talent within esports and gaming and FIFA is no different.
“Covid-19, whist creating opportunities for many in esports, has also had a negative impact on talent identification and development. I believe that some of the financial challenges people face will have a further negative impact on talent ID.
“Our partnership aims to create a clear pathway enabling talent to develop and make a sustainable career within FIFA.”
Callum Dornan, founder of SAF, added: “I strongly believe that with our community roots and expertise within the FIFA gaming sector, we can provide a clear pathway to future burgeoning talent within esports.
“The partnership with Revolution is very exciting in terms of activating our vision.”
