Irish esports organisation Nuclear Storm Gaming (NSG) have won the second season of the UK Esports League (UKEL).
They beat London Esports 3-1 in the final.
The UKEL is the unofficial second division below the UK League of Legends UKLC, which was recently won by Fnatic Rising.
The spring 2020 season started on February 3rd, following its inaugural season which was won by Viperio.

NSG ADC and team captain, VayneGodLoL, was named MVP of the finals.
London Esports finished runners-up and Bulldog Esports finished 3rd.
NSG director Stuart McAllister told Esports News UK: “We’re delighted to be crowned UKEL champions, no one really gave us a chance from the start but when Dean (VayneGod) approached us about his team, it was definitely the best option for the organisation.
“They had already won both splits of the SQ1 League (another league we are now a part of). Although we had to acquire players in both mid lane and support, the core of the team was there which gave us less of a headache in trialling players.
“Anyone that knows me knows I tend to do things a little less by the book, I don’t tend to follow the crowd and pick the big names or put all our resources into getting the best players, I enjoy looking for relatively unknown players and trying to make something out of them as best I can, even if that’s just the platform of playing under NSG.”
Stuart McAllister, Nuclear Storm Gaming
“To potentially see players push on and one day maybe make it at a pro level would give me great satisfaction and pride in knowing NSG helped them on their journey.
“We now have our SQ1 Semi final to prepare for on April 18th and we have every confidence we can go all the way in it as well. From a personal point of view, we need to continue to have this standard at NSG and I will do my best to ensure we continue to produce winning teams.”
