Arctic Storm, the League of Legends team that qualified for the Summer 2017 UK Masters this week, has joined UK org NerdRage Pro.
Esports News UK understands a deal between Arctic Storm manager Ashley “Slip” Haynes and NerdRage management over the past 24 hours.
Arctic Storm were in talks with another org at one point, but NerdRage made an offer and convinced Arctic Storm to merge with them.
Yesterday we published an interview with Arctic manager Ashley “Slip” Haynes who said that his roster will ‘convincingly win’ the UK Masters.
Slip has changed his Twitter page to include NerdRage branding.
Arctic qualified for the UK Masters Summer 2017 split this week, along with AsN Lotus Gaming.
Lotus’ top-laner Kirito recently said the UK LoL scene is ‘the easiest ever’ and that the UK Masters will be ‘free money’, which spawned a bunch of memes.
A full announcement between Arctic and NerdRage is expected to be made later this evening.
