Yesterday evening the top eight players progressing to the ESL UK & Ireland Hearthstone Premiership playoffs were confirmed.
The top eight taking part in the quarter finals are as follows:
1. xl3en
2. HelloLeeroy
3. Tingting52
4. Mysterious
5. Duncan
6. Danswf
7. Ness
7. GreenSheep
This means that the past two UK Hearthstone champions – BoarControl and Jambre – have been eliminated from the competition.
Felt powerless during them. Will look to improve and do better next prem, went 8-9 in games but ended up 1-3 in matches

It hasn’t been a good month for their previous organisation either – promising UK org Torpedo have sadly disbanded.
The playoff fixtures can be found on the ESL Play website.
The winners bracket will get underway next Monday (May 1st) and the losers bracket the week after.
Four winning players will reach the finals, taking place at the MCM London Comic Con on May 26th to 28th. Let’s just hope there aren’t any streakers for ESL’s Matt Loftus and a ‘jedi’ to deal with this time.
