Europe’s hopeful League of Legends teams and rosters taking part in the summer 2017 League of Legends Challenger Series Open Qualifier have been revealed.
Notable names include ValenciaCF eSports (the League of Legends team playing under the Spanish football club brand), Baskonia, K1ck, G2 Vodafone and Sensei, who have previously played in the ESL UK & Ireland Premiership.
Former UK scene players and people include coach Furndog on G2 Vodafone, XDSmiley on Baskonia, Deadly on eMonkeyz Club and Innaxe the God on Magistra.
Others include Wendelbo on Team Singularity, Prelude in C on Test 101, Phurion on Burger Flippers, Lukezy on Greek Regenesis Esports and Bradtek playing for Team PsyQo.
Former LCS player KaSing, and Son of KaSing, are also playing for R.B, while Hadow is somehow making an appearance via Hadow Smurf V7.
The best player name, for us, has to be Unknown Bäguette, playing for Eclypsia.
Some in the UK scene shared their views on the teams taking part this time around:
doesn’t look like many high quality teams signed up for OQ, looking forward to see how it plays out
