The upcoming Multiplay Insomnia56 (i56) LAN gaming event will feature a Razer League of Legends Challenger Cup tournament with a £5,000 prize pool.
Signups to the qualifiers are now open.
The event will take place from December 11th to 13th at the Birmingham NEC, with LoL teams from around Europe competing against each other. It’s open to all teams on the EU West server, with registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
The qualifiers for this will take place on Saturday November 28th from 12.30pm, where up to 32 teams will have the chance to win five paid-for BYOC tickets to i56. Qualifiers will end at 10pm the same day.
The format will be a best of one until the quarter finals, where the tournament will then host best-of-three matches.
First place will receive £2,500, second £1,000, third £600 and fourth-place will receive £300. Fifth to eight-placed teams will pick up £150 each.
The tournament will be broadcast live on http://twitch.tv/multiplay_LoL from 1.30pm.
