CoinPoker launches $1 Daily Dollar tournament with Sunday guarantee raised to $5,000

CoinPoker has launched a new daily $1 poker tournament, and increased the guarantee for its weekly Sunday edition following its opening weekend.

The Daily Dollar debuted on 13 August and runs at 17:00 UTC from Monday to Saturday, carrying a $1 buy-in and a guaranteed $1,000 prize pool.

On Sundays, CoinPoker replaces the regular tournament with the Daily Dollar Sunday Edition, which also costs $1 to enter but comes with a larger prize pool and an award for the winner’s CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.

The Sunday tournament initially launched with a $3,000 guarantee. That has now increased the figure to $5,000 from Sunday, 23 August.

Professional poker player and CoinPoker ambassador Mario Mosböck described it on X as the “smallest buy-in trophy event in the world”.

First Daily Dollar Sunday Edition surpasses $3,000 guarantee

The first Sunday Edition was held on 16 August and attracted 3,740 entries from 2,375 unique players, including 1,365 re-entries.

That pushed the final prize pool to $3,440, exceeding the tournament’s original $3,000 guarantee.

Player Dnxx won the event after entering three times and collected $453.92, becoming the first Daily Dollar Sunday Edition champion.

The victory also earned Dnxx a digital award in CoinPoker’s Trophy Cabinet, a profile feature that displays notable tournament victories.

CoinPoker has previously awarded Trophy Cabinet honours through some of its larger tournament series, while the Daily Dollar introduces the feature at the micro-stakes level.

CoinPoker offers freerolls and satellites for Daily Dollar tickets

Players can enter the Daily Dollar directly for $1, but CoinPoker has also introduced lower-cost and free routes into the tournament.

Its schedule includes $0.10 satellites awarding 25 Daily Dollar tickets, as well as freerolls distributing 100 tickets.

Players taking part in micro-stakes tournaments can receive up to three Daily Dollar tickets per week, which can also be used for the Sunday Edition.

The new event sits at the lowest end of CoinPoker’s tournament schedule, where buy-ins elsewhere currently range from freerolls to high-stakes events. The official tournament page lists real-money tournament buy-ins ranging from $0 to $25,500.

The operator is also preparing for the Global Online Poker Championship, which the supplied announcement says begins on 23 August and features more than 700 events with $50 million in total guarantees.

CoinPoker has run several large tournament series in 2026, including its recent Battle of Malta Online series, which ran from 12 July to 3 August and featured $30 million in guaranteed prize pools.
