LoL community petition to remove Hitpoint as Czech LEC broadcaster

The Czech and Slovakian League of Legends community have petitioned Riot Games to take action on LEC Broadcaster Hitpoint.

The Czech-language broadcaster has been accused of trying to sabotage the co-streams of content creator Petr ‘Xnapy’ Jirák.

Nearly 18,000 people have signed the petition asking Riot to stop Hitpoint from restricting co-streamers and to look for a different broadcaster next year.

Xnapy is one of two Czech-speaking LEC co-streamers for 2026 aong with former pro Aleš ‘Freeze’ Kněžínek.

Allegedly, Hitpoint is restricting Xnapy’s access to a clean LEC feed with no commentary and is making him use the English broadcast instead.

This essentially ruins the point of the creator’s streams as he regularly commentates over games himself.

Angry community members claim that Hitpoint is doing this in order to boost their own numbers.

According to the petition, during last year’s LoL World Championships, Xnapy’s co-stream dwarfed Hitpoint’s own broadcast.

Xnapy’s channel peaked at 12,676 viewers with an average audience of 4,726, while Hitpoint peaked at only 386 viewers.

LEC Week 1 viewership is down overall this year too, despite the inclusion of Los Ratones.

The petition also alleges that Hitpoint declined in followers during the event and claims this further shows that the community “has made its choice.”

“Instead of fixing their own broadcast to attract viewers, they are trying to limit the creative liberty of the market leader.

“They are attempting to shackle the creator who brings 12,000 people to the ecosystem, effectively holding the community hostage,” the petition claims.

The petition asks that Riot Games remove Hitpoint’s ability to restrict the streams of Xnapy and other co-streamers.

And it then asks that Hitpoint’s LEC broadcast license is not renewed next year and that Riot uses an Open Selection Process to choose their replacement.

Xnapy publicly comments on Hitpoint feud

Natus Vincere-partnered streamer Xnapy has publicly hit out at Hitpoint since the petition was posted.

The streamer missed the most recent day of LEC due to a scheduled surgery, but commented from the hospital on his Instagram story.

“Yesterday in the middle of the broadcast, we received an email from Smoko from Hitpoint saying that we can no longer use cleanfeed and we will have to return to the original English cast with commentators.

“Of course, they have every right to do it and if they expected that by providing cleanfeed on the first day the problem would subside and I will keep quiet, they are wrong.

“It’s such a raised middle finger for logical reasons, considering what’s happening right now. It’s just pouting and anger that caused the Czech commentary to not go anywhere officially on Hitpoint or in our country.”
