Notable teams in the LOL Worlds 2025

Defending champions T1 will have to go through a Play-In to reach the Swiss Stage of the League of Legends World Championship.

They will face Invictus Gaming on Tuesday, October 14th, with the winner joining 15 other teams in the Swiss Stage.

Bilibili Gaming will hope to go one better than 2024, after losing 3-2 to T1 in last year’s final.

Their roster includes Jungler Zhao ‘Shad0w’ Zhiqiang, who became the first European to win the LPL in China.

Shad0w is an Italian pro having been born in Milan to a family of Chinese heritage. He has revitalised his career with Bilibili Gaming, starring in their 3-2 Summer Split triumph against Top Esports.

Top Esports did however qualify for the LOL Worlds Swiss Stage, beating Invictus Gaming to avoid the Play-In.

Gen.G and FlyQuest are first seeds after winning the LCK and LTA championships respectively.

CTBC Flying Oyster became the first LCP 2025 Champions after the Asia-Pacific’s regional unification.

The team were dominant throughout the entire Season Finals split, winning every series they played from Phase 1 to the Grand Final.
