BESTIA CEO Santutu slammed for racist remarks on livestream
Santiago ‘Santutu’ Rodriguez, Argentinian gambling streamer and BESTIA CEO and partner, has been slammed online for making extensively abusive comments towards an individual during a Kick livestream.
His insulting and discriminatory rant has resulted in indefinite suspension from his CEO role.
Who is BESTIA CEO Santutu?
Santutu is a 25-year-old Argentinian streamer who, prior to his actions on the evening of February 2nd, was a high-ranking partner and CEO of esports organisation BESTIA.
He primarily creates casino and gambling content on the controversial streaming platform Kick.
Meanwhile, BESTIA is an Argentinian organisation competing in Counter-Strike 2 esports. It is best known for the high-profile visa controversy that preceded the 2025 BLAST Austin Major. During this incident, another CEO/high-profile partner within BESTIA, rapper and poker player Alejandro ‘Papo MC’ Lococo, threatened legal action against BLAST.
Their late visa confirmation led to BESTIA being replaced by Legacy in the tournament lineup.
Most recently, BESTIA competed in the FiReCONTER 2026 Season 1 Playoffs, where they were eliminated in the Semifinals by RED Canids.
This unfortunate tournament elimination appeared to be the trigger for Santutu’s aggressive insults, lashing out at a Brazilian RED Canids fan who had posted about the match on X (Twitter).
What did Santutu state in his livestream meltdown?
While on a livestream, Santutu repeatedly insulted an individual in a degrading rant online featuring racist and discriminatory abuse. The individual had allegedly commented on BESTIA’s elimination from FiReCONTER.
This included using racial slurs, insulting the individual for having to work a day-to-day job, and insulting their appearance.

Amongst other targeted remarks, Santutu made comments about the individual’s weight, called them a “sick, fat, idiot,” and said that they were “full of stretch marks.”
He then bragged that he is given $35,000 USD per day to gamble online, that he earns more money, and that he has a private jet. Alongside this, he used his position within BESTIA to further boast. In a display of arrogance, he proclaimed, “the team is mine, they pay me, it’s all mine, it’s all for me.”
After this catastrophic meltdown, he concluded, “You little Twitter idiot, you would love it. But you can’t have it. So stay where you are.”
BESTIA issues a statement following online backlash
Unsurprisingly, the backlash to Santutu’s statements was immediate.
Brazilian esports organisation Yawara was among the first to respond. They quickly confirmed that they would not participate in any scrim matches or other interactions with BESTIA until they felt that Santutu had faced adequate repercussions.
Meanwhile, discourse online spread like wildfire. Many Argentinian and Brazilian esports fans repeated the phrase, “he’s so poor that the only thing he has is money,” expressing their shock at how shallow Santutu’s actions were.
Fellow high-profile partner/CEO at BESTIA Papo MC stated that he had a two-hour call with Santutu. He stated Santutu was “regretful” and “deeply sorry for his actions.”
However, Santutu’s rapidly growing collection of critics immediately lashed back at the idea of someone spouting such a degrading and discriminatory rant, then miraculously reforming a mere few hours later.
Official BESTIA accounts posted: “In light of the publicly known events, BESTIA announces that it has decided to suspend Santutu from his role as CEO indefinitely.”
“BESTIA apologises to everyone for the statements made by Santutu today. These opinions do not represent or reflect the values we promote as an organisation.”
“We categorically reject any form of racism or discrimination. We have already taken action on this matter, and this situation will not be repeated.”
Santutu’s personal apology receives a frosty reception
Alongside official statements from BESTIA, Santutu also posted an apology online.
In this apology, he states, “I can’t believe what I said on my stream yesterday; it doesn’t represent me or speak even a little to who I am as a human being.” He also confirmed that he is stepping away from livestreaming “for a while” to reflect on his actions.
Most were not receptive to his words, particularly given how rapidly he had turned from racial and discriminatory abuse to online apologies with minimal time for true consideration of the impact.
Others pointed out Santutu’s history of apologies for similar behaviour. One commented, “if every month you have a clip like that then you’re exactly that.”
Another more passionately distained commenter stated, “I’ve heard you say the exact same thing a thousand times, now you regret it only because people found out and you’re apologising because you have to, not because you actually don’t think that way…”
They continued, “…you just copy-paste the apology texts from your previous f***-ups so you can go back to f***ing up again later.”
Evidently, Santutu’s period of reflection will need to be even more extensive than his insulting rant for the South American esports community to offer any forgiveness.
