South Park cosmetics are coming to Rocket League

South Park items are coming to Rocket League in a continuation of Epic Games partnrship with the cartoon.

South Park skins were added to Fortnite earlier this month in the latest pop culture collaboration for the shooter.

The Rocket League items, including toppers and an Octane decal, will be available from January 22nd until February 5th.

The new Toppers won’t require purchase. They will be free for Rocket League players who complete challenges in the Cartman’s Crash Out event.

There will be five toppers in total, with each one placing one of the main characters on players’ cars.

Each topper will be certified and track a specific stat, for example, the Butters Topper will appropriately track losses while worn.

The five toppers and the stats they will track are as follows:

  • Cartman Topper: Tracks turtle goals
  • •Stan Topper: Tracks goals
  • •Kyle Topper: Tracks assists
  • •Kenny Topper: Tracks how many times you’ve been demo’d
  • •Butters Topper: Tracks your losses

The Cartman Crash Out Challenges will also unlock the ‘animated Cheesy Poofs Octane Decal’ for free.

Meanwhile, there will be a purchasable bundle available in the shop called the Stampede + South Park Bundle.

This will unlock the SUV-style Stampede body type for players that didn’t already have it.

And it will give players five decals for the Stampede based on each South Park main character: Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, or Butters.

The South Park collaboration added a new five-player squad game mode for Fortnite called Quints.

However, Rocket League does not seem to be getting and new modes or South Park content other than the aforementioned cosmetics.

Rocket League has been confirmed as one of the 24 titles at the 2026 iteration of the Esports World Cup.

Now, the Esports World Cup 2026 schedule and prize pool have been confirmed.

The Rocket League event will take place during Week 6, the penultimate week, sometime between August 10th and August 15th.

While the Esports World Cup has seen an increase in total prize pool to $75 million (£55.8m), Rocket League’s tournament has seen no changes.

Various esports titles have seen the number of teams participating, but Rocket League appears to have the same format as last year.

The Rocket League event will be a 16-team event with a total prize pool of $1m (£745k).

Last year’s event was won by Karmine Corp, who defeated Geekay Esports in the final to take home the $400k (£298k) grand prize.
