Fnatic have progressed through the LEC Summer Playoff Finals and booked their place at the League of Legends World Championships.
The prestigious EMEA organisation qualified for LoL Worlds for the ninth consecutive year after defeating Karmine Corp 3-1.
This means LEC Winter Champions and First Stand attendees KCorp have been eliminated from Worlds contention and their season is over.
Fnatic will represent the LEC at the international tournament, but first will be focused on battling Movistar KOI and G2 Esports for the LEC title.
Here is how Fnatic defeated KCorp in front of a live crowd in Madrid.

Fnatic vs Karmine Corp Game 1
Heading into the series, the big question mark was the top lane match-up.
With Kim ‘Canna’ Chang-dong being KCorp’s most consistent performer this year, many were worried about how Fnatic’s Óscar ‘Oscarinin’ Muñoz would cope.
However, the Spanish toplaner clearly received a buff from his home crowd as he had an incredible game.
After solokilling Vladimiros ‘Vladi’ Kourtidis, Oscanrinin was 4/0/1 as Ambessa 15 minutes into the game.

Yet KCorp stayed in the game, and somehow kept things close.
That was until an amazing engage by Iván ‘Razork’ Martín Díaz caught everyone off-guard, even British co-streamer Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont.
Mihael ‘Mikyx’ Mehle had been forced off the Atakhan, but Razork turned around and engaged to somehow win Fnatic the teamfight.
And it was then another snap engage that won Fnatic the match.
There were doubts over Fnatic after Humanoid left the LEC team at the end of Spring.
However, his replacement, Yoon ‘Poby’ Sung-won has rewarded Fnatic’s faith.
Just as it looked like the game would come down to an Elder Fight, a brilliant Galio engage by Poby allowed Fnatic to end and win Game 1.
Fnatic vs Karmine Corp Game 2
In an unexpected pick in the draft for Game 2, Mikyx decided to lock in Taric.
The bold call ended up being a genius move as it boosted Fnatic’s team-fighting.
Plus, it helped cover up Vi’s weaknesses, as explained by British caster Alex ‘Nymaera’ Hapgood:
“Taric not only covers for Vi’s biggest weakness – being blown up when she engages – but also provides great follow-up CC with Dazzle.”
Taric Vi is an utterly unfair combo, love what @GrabbZ_, @mikyx and the FNC crew have cooked up with this.

This match ended up being a statement game for Fnatic botlaner Elias ‘Upset’ Lipp.
As Fnatic nailed their team fights, Upset finished the game with a 12/0/3 KDA on Zeri to put Fnatic on match point.
Fnatic vs KCorp Game 3
In Game 3, KCorp fought back – though Fnatic didn’t make it easy.
With Sivir and Jax, KCorp could easily nullify Poby’s Twisted Fate.
And LEC Rookie of the Year Caliste ‘Caliste’ Henry-Hennebert was having a phenomenal game.

Caliste was easily KCorp’s strongest performer on the day as his Sivir was causing Fnatic all kinds of issues.
Yet, Fnatic were still able to hold their base, and that was when things got dicey.
KCorp were suddenly forced to give up Elder Drake and looked set to get swept.
Especially as Razork geniusly waited to finish the Elder until the last possible second, so the buff overlapped with Baron’s spawn.
Fnatic were able to take Baron, but it cost them everything as Caliste’s Sivir melted through them for a KCorp win.
Fnatic vs Karmine Corp Game 4
After yet another strong draft, it looked like KCorp were going to force a Game 5 and threaten a reverse sweep.
However, Oscarinnin had other ideas.
The Spanish toplaner solokilled Canna for First Blood and then did so again just minutes later.

After just 15 minutes, Fnatic found themselves with a 5K gold lead and complete control of the game.
Fnatic easily held onto their lead and closed out the series to book their place at LoL Worlds 2025.
