EA FC 26 highest rated teams revealed with just seven clubs receiving five star rating

EA has revealed the highest rated teams in FC 26 ahead of the game’s launch later this month with just seven teams given a five-star rating.

The best in the world received a five-star rating but there was some notable snubs in EA’s new game.

Five star rated clubs in EA FC 26

There was no surprise with the clubs that were given a five star rating on EA FC 26, with Europe’s best claiming the seven spots.

Three English teams made the list with Premier League champions Liverpool an obvious inclusion. Although they finished second in the league again last year, Arsenal were also given five stars.

Manchester City had a quiet season in 2024/25 but they kept their status as one of the top teams in FC 26.

After winning their domestic leagues, Bayern Munich and Barcelona both held on to their five stars from FC 25.

PSG were included as a five star club for the first time after winning the Champions League last season

Real Madrid were still a dominant force in Europe last year and if they weren’t given five stars it would have been a big shock. The Spanish club rounded off the exclusive list of just seven teams given a top rating in the new game.

Biggest five star snubs

After being crowned world champions at the Club World Cup in the summer, Chelsea are undoubtedly the biggest snub by EA in FC 26.

The Blues disappointed in the Premier League last season but were still crowned Conference League champions in their first season in the competition.

Two teams that received five stars in FC 25 and not in the new game were Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan.

Inter – who are called Lombardia FC in the game due to licensing issues – lost out in Serie A last year with Napoli taking the title.

Leverkusen’s fairytale in the Bundesliga only lasted one season with Bayern once again claiming the title.

When will EA FC 26 be released?

There isn’t long until EA FC 26 is released, with the game officially launching on September, 26th.

Those who pay extra for the Ultimate Edition will get the added bonus of being able to play from the 19th of September.

PC players will get the chance to play before any console users with the game coming out on PC one day earlier.

There are still some major details to be released by EA ahead of the game’s release, with official player ratings set to be announced this week.
