VCT Paris teams confirmed, here are the 16 competitors heading to VCT Champions

All 16 VCT Paris Teams are now confirmed.

Who will be heading to France for the VCT Champions, and which teams have missed out on qualification?

Confirmed VCT Paris Teams: Who will compete?

The 16 confirmed VCT Paris Teams are as follows:

  • G2 Esports (Americas)
  • NRG (Americas)
  • Sentinels (Americas)
  • MIBR (Americas)
  • Bilibili Gaming (China)
  • Dragon Ranger Gaming (China)
  • EDward Gaming (China)
  • XLG Esports (China)
  • Team Liquid (EMEA)
  • GIANTX (EMEA)
  • Fnatic (EMEA)
  • Team Heretics (EMEA)
  • Paper Rex (Pacific)
  • Rex Regum Qeon (Pacific)
  • T1 (Pacific)
  • DRX (Pacific)

G2 Esports, NRG, Bilibili Gaming, Dragon Ranger Gaming, Team Liquid, GIANTX, Paper Rex, and Rex Regum Qeon all qualified specifically through their Stage 2 competitive performances. They either won or reached the finals in their respective region.

On the other hand, Sentinels, MIBR, EDward Gaming, XLG Esports, Fnatic, Team Heretics, T1, and DRX qualified based on their overall regional points.

Will we have another Fnatic vs Paper Rex final?

VCT Toronto’s thrilling Grand Final featured Fnatic and Paper Rex facing off in a highly close showdown. Eventually, Paper Rex was able to take the title and shake the “silver curse” after a string of second-place tournament finishes.

However, fans might enjoy a new Grand Final combination in Paris. Although Paper Rex performed well in the Pacific Region, Fnatic had a less fruitful Stage 2.

In the EMEA region, it was GIANTX and Team Liquid who reached the Regional Final. Fnatic, although comfortably becoming one of the qualified VCT Paris teams by overall points, finished in a disappointing 6th place in Stage 2.

After losing to BBL Esports, Fnatic were forced into a Lower Bracket run that eventually ended in defeat to GIANTX in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinal.

Therefore, Fnatic and GIANTX may have a VCT Paris rematch.

Nevertheless, due to their excellent VCT Toronto performance, Fnatic will still be one of the favourites on Valorant betting sites to become one of the VCT Paris teams competing in the Grand Final.

Taking the crowning VCT Champions title for 2025 would also complete a satisfying redemption after their narrow loss to Paper Rex in Toronto.

VCT Paris 2025: Format, schedule, and where to watch

VCT Champions Paris 2025 begins on September 12th.

The Group Stage runs from September 12th to 22nd. All 16 VCT Paris teams will compete in four double-elimination format (GSL) Groups. Every group stage match will be played in a best-of-three.

Following the Group Stage, each Group’s top two teams advance to the Playoffs.

Playoffs begin on September 25th, and run to the October 5th Grand Final. A double-elimination bracket will narrow the field down to the top two finalists. All playoff games are played in a best-of-three, except the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are best-of-five.

Fnatic will seek redemption from Stage 2, Paper Rex will pursue a second 2025 trophy. Meanwhile, 14 other teams are hot on their tail.
