The teams for Dota 2 PGL Wallachia Season 5 have all been confirmed, with British esports holding a strong hand in the upcoming competition.
It isn’t long until Season 5 gets underway with the event taking place between June 21-29, in Bucharest, Romania.
The event won’t be open to a public audience with PGL Studios hosting the tournament behind closed doors.

The tournament has a total prize pool of $1,000,000 up for grabs but it is ultimately the title of champions that the teams will be vying for.
The event in June will be the first tournament to take place since PGL committed to supporting DOTA 2 esports for the next 4 years.
There will be no teams from South East Asia taking part in Dota 2 PGL Wallachia Season 5 but that is mainly because qualification for The International 2025 begins just days before the event and that takes priority for most teams.
As well as the Asian teams missing from the tournament there will also be no Team Falcons or PARIVISION in Bucharest, with two big names opting out of the tournament.
British esports teams in Dota 2 PGL Wallachia Season 5
Tundra Esports will represent the UK at the upcoming Dota 2 PGL Wallachia Season 5 where they will be hoping to improve on last season’s impressive performance.
In Season 4, Tundra Esports finished third at the PGL Wallachia where they took home $120,000 in prize money.
The British team finished behind only Team Liquid and PARAVISION in that event and with neither of those teams playing in 2025, Tundra Esports certainly has a better chance of winning than ever before.
But it wasn’t just last season that Tundra Esports had success, with the team notorious for finishing well in past iterations of the competition.
In Season 3 the team finished 2nd and the season before that they finished 3rd, with a podium finish in the last three tournaments making for some impressive form.
