DreamLeague Season 26 provides the last opportunity for teams to qualify for the Dota 2 championship at the Esports World Cup later this year, with 29,200 EPT Points on offer at the event.
There is also spots at the Dota 2 International 2025 up for grabs, with team performances in the upcoming event playing a part in qualification for that tournament also.
Who is playing in DreamLeague Season 26?
DreamLeague Season 26 is back and bigger than ever before with a prize pool of over £750,000 on offer to teams involved.
16 teams will take part in the Dota 2 tournament, with the top four participants qualifying automatically thanks to their EPT points.
The remaining 12 teams had more of a difficult run to qualify themselves for the latest edition of DreamLeague, taking part in regional qualifiers to earn a spot in the tournament.
Last Season’s champions, Team Spirit, declined their invitation to DreamLeague 26 with the hopes of resting during a busy schedule.

DreamLeague Season 26 format & schedule
DreamLeague 26 will take up a similar format to past events in this sphere, with the teams split into two different group stages before the playoffs commence.
The group stage gets underway on May 19th, with the top four teams from each group advancing to a second phase in the groups. The bottom four placed teams will immediately be eliminated from contention in the tournament.
Following the second group stage, the top team from each group advance again into the ‘upper bracket’ of the Grand Final, while the remaining three and four seed battle it out for a place in the semi final against the loser of the top seeded game.
The DreamLeague Season 26 Grand Final is set to take place on June 1st.
