Call of Duty: Warzone patch notes have been released, with changes made and bugs resolved in the hopes of improving the quality of the esports scene.
As well as updating various issues in the game Call of Duty has also made adaptations to ranked play.
Call of Duty: Warzone patch notes
The Call of Duty update officially launched on May 13th, marking the second update since Season 3 reloaded came into the game at the beginning of the month.
So far in Season 3 there has been lots of complaints about a movement bug but the issue has since been resolved in the latest update. The issue led to slower aiming when targeting enemies close range.
Esports players benefit from the quicker movement especially in close combat and along with the vertical movement which was restored in the initial May update, Warzone players can have much faster battles.
Another minor bug that has been fixed was the revive times in the battle royal game. There had been problems with times differing between players which gave some enemies slight advantage when attacking.
Ranked Play gets updated
With Call of Duty: Warzone returning to Verdansk in the previous update, ranked play has seen a significant boost in activity with an even more competitive feel.

There has been a new public event launched within the update as a Restock event takes place of the fire Sale that usually comes midway through rounds.
With the Restock being added, Buy Stations will no longer give out discounts on items in the shop which gives in-game currency more value.
Call of Duty at the World Cup
Warzone will feature at the upcoming Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia under a new format, with Resurgence coming back to the competitive scene in place of the Verdansk map.
Last year’s gold medalists for Call of Duty: Warzone at the Esports World Cup were Team Falcons, followed by Fnatic in silver and Twisted Minds in bronze.
