An Apex Legends trailer has dropped for the upcoming season 25, with a new character teased to fans as well as plenty of other updates.
New Apex Legends character
Apex Legends is about to enter into season 25 and with the arrival of the new season Respawn Entertainment has (finally) announced a new legend.
There hasn’t been a new Apex Legend character since May last year (season 21) with the developer focusing more on updating existing characters and making other in game improvements, so there is certainly some excitement surrounding Sparrow’s arrival in the game.
‘Sparrow’ was unveiled in the new Prodigy Anthem trailer that also showcased the character’s archery ability and his companion, a black cat.

Fans were given a closer glimpse at what Sparrow’s kit might look like although the trailer isn’t necessarily the final, finished product. From the trailer, he seems to use shock arrows to stun, a jetpack to boost jumps and an arm-mounted crossbow which acts as a scanner.
The legend will also to be able to fire both electrified and explosive arrows which can be seen attached to Sparrow in the trailer.
The preview also hints at potential changes to the Bocek bow. On the official Apex Legends website it says in season 25 there will be “all-new Bocek updates” so expect changes to come.
In the new season Respawn also confirmed that there would be a ‘Prodigy Premium battle Pass Split 1’ but there is no further details about what it will include. There will also be updates to ranked play.
Sparrow will be the game’s 27th legend, with ‘Alter’ the last one to be revealed in May of 2024.
Season 25 will be released on May 6th with season 24 drawing to a close after two months in the game. Keep an eye out for the official gameplay trailer which should be released soon by EA on their official website.
