Team OG accused of stealing players from Night Pulse Dota 2 roster

Russian esports team Night Pulse has accused Danish rival, Team OG, of poaching players off their current Dota 2 roster.

Who did Team OG poach?

With the current Dota 2 season just kicking off, Night Pulse has brought to light a situation from before the new campaign with frustrations rising after Team OG tried to poach some of their roster.

Night Pulse were planning on signing four new players for the 2025 season including Vitaly “Worick” Brezgin, Cedric “Davai Lama” Dekmin, Sakis “Desire” Kartsabas and Ivan “Kidaro” Bondarev.

According to Night Pulse, they were already in the midst of contract negotiations with all four of the players by March with everyone agreeing to terms ahead of the new season.

But just days before the season began, Davai Lama and Kidaro both revealed that they would in fact be leaving for Team OG regardless of the discussions.

How did Night Pulse lose their players?

Night Pulse has voiced its concerns at the poaching over the past couple of months, taking to Telegram to announce the disappointment in not only Team OG, but the esports organization as a whole.

“We see a blatant violation of the norms and principles of fair competition, sportsmanship, fair play and the legal rights of our organization.”

The team also accused its Danish rivals of entering contract negotiations with Kami while still under contract with Night Pulse, despite holding a long-term contract and relationship with the Russian side.

Team OG has refuted all the accusations and most importantly with no contracts actually signed yet, their moves were completely legal despite being unethical.
