Popular UK streamer Tobias ‘Tubbo’ Smith is hosting a one-of-its-kind Tubbathon 4 esports event at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in London, featuring multiple games and streamers.
Tubbo, the third most-watched streamer in the UK, with 5.3m Twitch followers and over 1.45m hours watched globally throughout this year alone, kicked off the esports bootcamp event today. It runs from March 20th to 22nd 2025, from 12pm midday.
Tubbathon 4 will feature a Big Brother-style esports showdown, where three teams of five players will battle it out in Valorant, League of Legends and Minecraft.
Tubbo and other top UK creators will be coached by professional esports players. The teams will ‘train, scrim and compete in a high-stakes tournament, all while creating hilarious, behind-the-scenes content for viewers’, according to a press alert.
It’s a part of Tubbo’s annual record-breaking subathon, ‘Tubbathon’. Last year, Tubbo’s Tubbathon 3 stream marathon boosted the Valorant Northern Europe league, and saw over 6.34m hours watched in total by his community, setting a new record of 64 days of constant livestreaming.
This is Tubbo’s fourth annual subathon, where he streams 24 hours a day for 30 days consecutively throughout March.
There are some big names involved in the Tubbo esports event, including the likes of UK streamers Tenshi, who joined GiantX last year, and LoL streamer and coach Whatley, who also has a team in the UKEL.
Day one (March 20th) will focus on Valorant, day two (March 21st) League of Legends and day three (March 22nd) Minecraft.
Casters will be Tubbo, Codycasts and Jvck.
Tobias ‘Tubbo’ Smith has made his mark as a globally recognised Twitch streamer and content creator, best known for his involvement in the Dream SMP Minecraft server and collaborations with top creators like TommyInnit, Dream, and Aimsey.
With 78m hours watched on Twitch and three consecutive nominations for Best Minecraft Streamer at the Streamer Awards, Tubbo continues to be a major force in the Twitch streaming and gaming community.
The Tubbathon bootcamp will feature special guests from pop culture and all corners of the UK content creator community.
