British League of Legends coach Christopher ‘Duffman’ Duff has joined Fnatic as assistant coach for the org’s LEC team.
The London-headquartered esports organisation made the announcement on their social media this evening.
Duffman was most recently assistant coach at G2 Esports, an org he departed late last year.
Now he’s with rivals Fnatic, and his appointment comes after Fnatic had a decent showing in the Winter 2025 LEC, topping the regular season table and reaching the lower bracket final.
Fnatic’s LoL coaching team includes head coach Graabz and assistant coach Gaax, plus there’s team manager Geomancy. Their roster is Oscarinin, Razork, Humanoid, Upset and Mikyx.
Fnatic said they are excited to welcome Duffman to their LEC coaching staff team.
Duffman on joining Fnatic
“I’m rested and ready to put my all into another project, and looking forward to reconnecting with Grabbz again with all the lessons we’ve learned in the past couple years,” Duffman said on X.
“If Winter was anything to go by, some heart attacks are in store, but I’ll give it my all to make them small ones!”
Duffman added in the video above: “A big selling point for me [joining Fnatic] was working again with Grabbz. I’ve worked with Mikyx multiple times too, a player I really value.
“My main priority would be some logic in the mid to late game, that’s where I focus most of my effort. When we set up for objectives and play for waves and do the right things, that’s what I’m looking to do. Looking at teams in other regions, and what they do and why, is also something I do.”

“I’m excited [about the current roster]. I’m excited to see what I can do with those players. To all the fans, hopefully I can prove the grass is orange on the other side!”
Gaax also said: “Very happy to have Duff on the team and to be able to better distribute our responsibilities as a coaching staff to help the team improve.
“Looking forward to the next split. Welcome Duffman.”
Fnatic CGO and co-owner Patrik Sättermon added: “Very pleased to welcome Duffman to Fnatic! t’s been great catching up with Chris over the past months to line this up for Spring Split onwards, and I’m sure both our coaches and players will benefit from his immense experience.”
