Official UK grassroots esports competition, the Valorant UK Circuit (VUKC), is returning for 2025 with a new season and tweaked competitive formats.
The VUKC is a place for up and coming teams to start their journey through the Valorant esports ecosystem, and also for the Valorant community to get together and play in ‘an open and fun environment’.
Organisers say the VUKC had a successful launch season in 2024, with 68 teams and more than 600 players participating.
For 2025, VUKC is launching a new divisional structure which will ‘create continuity between seasons and give teams more opportunity for progression and development’.
The first season, VUKC Winter 2025, will run to a shorter format and act as a qualifying round, with divisions 1 and 2 being established in the second season later in the year. This Winter season will run from February 5th to March 5th 2025, with matches mostly played on Wednesday evenings from 7pm GMT.
The top team will not take the lion’s share of a £1,000 prize pool, and also be entered into the North Qualifier for Valorant Challengers North//East.
The top 12 teams from this season will also be invited directly to Division 1 of the next VUKC season in 2025.
VUKC is open to players of all ranks, but teams must be majority composed of players from the United Kingdom.
The company behind the tournament is NUEL, a UK esports event and community organiser owned by GGTech Entertainment.
Registrations are now open for the Winter season, and will close on February 4th at 11:59pm GMT. Players can sign up and find out more on the VUKC 2025 Winter tournament page, and there’s also the VUKC Tournament Discord.

Val UK Community returns to stream Valorant UK Circuit in 2025
While NUEL doesn’t currently run an official broadcast for the VUKC, there’s a group that has been running a VUKC community stream instead.
This has been well-received and can be found via the X and Twitch links below.
Esports News UK understands that NUEL is hoping to find sponsors, which can help make an official broadcast sustainable in the future.
