Loadout Media, the new media arm of UK esports organisation Endpoint, have announced a partnership with BLK MKT Productions.
This will see BLK MKT support Loadout with client bookings, studio maintenance and live broadcast production assistance from Endpoint’s facilities.
They can also use Endpoint’s space in Sheffield – including their full media studio setup – to upscale their own productions.
Endpoint opened their Sheffield HQ and Pracrooms bootcamp service last year.
The idea is to allow various esports teams and gaming clients to book the space out for bootcamps and other similar events, and to now also capture and produce content while there, through Loadout Media and BLK MKT Productions.
BLK MKT have already worked with Endpoint, having produced the first Counter-Strike UK & Ireland Circuit (UKIC) Season 0 LAN event, won by K10, and the Quake Foundry LAN.
‘We’re providing the UK esports scene with an option to elevate their tournaments and broadcasts’ – BLK MKT
Five minutes with BLK MKT Productions founder Alex ‘Tex’ Bloch
“The Team at BLK MKT Productions and the Endpoint Group team talked at UKIC about helping to develop their high quality production studio into a space that can be rented out and used,” Tex told Esports News UK. “Not just for their own use, but also as an opportunity for other agencies and broadcast solutions to have a space to achieve top quality esports and media production.
“Over the last six months of back and forth, we have worked together and with all credit going to the team at Endpoint UK, put together a solid plan and already pushed a few changes. A podcast and media set ideal for media days, commercial filming, and esports casting has been designed and built with the goal of achieving top quality content, while also providing a competitive pricing point.
“The goal of the space with the changes happening is to provide both the tier 1 and tier 4 productions with a space that is affordable, but doesn’t compromise on quality.
“BLK MKT Productions has a team which includes veteran production team members working on tier 1 events all the way to the entry level producers. Our goal is to provide a place where they can learn and develop their skills with the help of veteran members.
“Our ultimate goal is to provide the industry with a reliable broadcast and event solution. With project managers who have worked on white label event solutions, to the tournament admin team who have worked with ESL and BLAST, we aim to provide the best possible. Our motto being, “for the community, by the community”, instils the values of providing the best possible work we can for every client, as we were once part of the community that suffered.
“This partnership with Endpoint is our first step in helping to provide the UK scene with an option to elevate their tournaments and broadcast. With Endpoint already supporting the scene through their top of the line Pracrooms bootcamp facilities, this new partnership aims to take the media side of esports and marketing to the next level.
“Both Endpoint and BLK MKT Productions are extremely excited to be able to announce the launch of this new company Loadout Media. Having the support of both the veteran esports organisation Endpoint Group, and the broadcast and event veterans at BLK MKT Productions, it is the perfect place to bring the next generation of esports tournaments and LAN broadcast solutions.
“With a studio set for green screen, backdrops and top of the line equipment available to support all kinds of media, and the versatile nature of the space, it is perfect for any and all content and media creation.”
Loadout Media joins several other Endpoint brands, as COO says ‘it’s now time to grow them’
Endpoint now have a range of arms: their Endpoint esports teams, UKIC grassroots events, Pracrooms bootcamp spaces, Passbot (a two-factor authentication bot currently in internal testing) and now Loadout Media for media solutions.
Endpoint COO Peter Thompson said: “It’s really great to work closer with Tex, Brandon Borrelli Yi and the wider BLK MKT team bringing their expertese in live production to our facilities in Sheffield.
“They did an amazing job on both our UKIC LAN finals Season 0 and The Foundry Quake LAN, while also already hosting Apex and Rust events from our facility in the past few months.”
Endpoint have also repurposed their YouTube channel for Loadout Media, focusing on tech reviews for esports, with pro gamers involved, as well as podcasts featuring the different teams that bootcamp at Endpoint’s Pracrooms spaces. They also have separate channels for their CS, Rocket League and Quake content, and one for the UKIC.
“We feel like we cover a really good range of things here, and now it’s time to grow these companies,” Peter Thompson added in a recent video about Loadout Media.
