Esports tournament organiser ESL Faceit Group (EFG) has signed an esports marketing partnership with WeDoCRM, a UK Customer Relationship Management (CRM) agency.
The agency said the collaboration ‘marks another significant milestone for it, solidifying its position as a key player in the realm of esports marketing’.
EFG has chosen WeDoCRM to spearhead its CRM marketing initiatives, which means it will work on brand campaigns for the esports company.
The deal will involve:
- Management of Brand Campaign Execution. WeDoCRM will take charge of overseeing the execution of brand creative campaigns in a bid to resonate with the esports community
- Creation and Delivery of CRM Campaign Calendar. The agency will collaborate closely with ESL Face It Group’s Marketing and Commercial teams to create and deliver a CRM campaign calendar
- Optimisation of Segmentations and Persona Pools. WeDoCRM will employ analytics to ‘optimise segmentation and persona pools, ensuring that the right messages reach the right audience’
- Holistic Ownership of CRM Campaigns. The agency will oversee the pre-event planning of journeys for key events
- Ownership of Commercial Objectives. WeDoCRM will take ownership of ESL Face It Group’s commercial objectives, with a focus on shop sales, ticket purchases, cosmetic downloads and subscriptions

ESL and Faceit merged back in early 2022 under the banner of Savvy Gaming Group (SGG), which is 100% owned by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund – its government’s Public Investment Fund.
