The group draw features one team from the UK, Ireland and Nordics’ Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC): Nord Esports.
Ireland’s Nativz won the recent NLC 2023 Summer Playoffs to reach EMEA Masters Main Event, however runners-up Nord made it to the EMEA Masters 2023 play-ins. They’ve been placed into group A, along with GTZ Esports, KRC Genk Esports and WLGaming Esports.
UK esports organisation Team 7am – who compete in the Benelux Elite Series – are also in the play-ins. 7am are in group C with FUT Esports, Entropiq and White Dragons.
Update (August 17th): Unfortunately both Nord and Team 7am didn’t progress to the main stage, however they put up a good fight, going 3-3 and 2-4 respectively.
