The Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) has published its full list of teams taking part in Divisions 2 and below.
The NLC is the EMEA Regional League for LoL teams in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries, and consists of several divisions of play.
The NLC Summer 2023 Season is now underway across these various divisions, with the NLC announcing the full list of teams in this 2023 NLC Summer Lower Divisions article yesterday.
In Division 2, UK esports organisation Lionscreed recently acquired a spot via an open application process.
They join nine other teams including Ireland’s Munster Rugby Gaming, plus others such as Lundqvist Lightside, Venomcrest, 42 Gaming and more.

In Division 3, there are four groups of ten across four sub divisions: 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D.
G2 Hel, the women’s League of Legends team of G2 Esports first announced last year, are the biggest name in NLC Summer 2023 Division 3. They’re in Division 3A, along with paragon, UK org Vulpine Esports, as well as others including academy sides Fourth Wall Academy, Venomcrest Ice Vipers, Lundqvist Darkside and more.
The UK esports organisation set up by footballer Jesse Lingard, JLingz Esports, are also participating in Division 3B, and another Lionscreed team, the Lionscreed Lionesses, are in NLC Division 3D.

Division 1 UK esports organisation Verdant also have their academy team, Verdant Bloom, in Division 3C, as does fellow Division1 team Domino Esports.
Division 4 also sees 40 teams taking part across four sub divisions, like Division 3. While many teams didn’t return from Spring 2023, NLC said it is ‘seeing an increase in the overall participation’ in Division 4.
Teams here include Karolinerna White, Nuclear Vikings Academy, UK Painkillers, Lime Lite Gaming and more.
UK Painkillers have some UK LoL OGs including Tyrin, Akkers, Syn and more, and DonJake of Division 1 team Ruddy Esports is on board:
The news comes recently after the NLC 2023 Summer Division 1 team rosters and broadcast talent were revealed, as the new season got underway.
