MSI 2023 drops include exclusive Master Yi emote

MSI 2023 drops

Riot Games has announced information about how to access MSI 2023 drops during the tournament, which takes place in London in May.

As with most major League of Legends esports tournaments, Riot Games is again giving away some in-game League of Legends digital goodies for viewers of the broadcast on LoLEsports.com.

Fans can login using their Riot ID at the top right of the LoLEsports website before watching the MSI broadcast on said website. A green checkmark will indicate the viewer is eligible for MSI 2023 drops.

By doing this, they will periodically unlock limited-time goodies such as in-game emotes. For example, when there’s a Pentakill, Baron steal or other notable moment in a League of Legends MSI match.

MSI London runs from May 2nd to 21st 2023, so LoL esports viewers will have three weeks to get in on the action and access some MSI 2023 drops.

Drops only come from the live broadcasts and aren’t available by watching past VODs.

What are the MSI 2023 drops?

MSI 2023 drops will include an exclusive Inkshadow Master Yi emote, which will be released during MSI.

Riot Games said that if you win a merch item, Riot Support will contact you within 30 days to arrange delivery.

Riot has not yet revealed the full list of unlockable digital goodies, but previous events have seen fans able to unlock emotes, champion capsules and hextech chests by watching broadcasts from LoLEsports.com.

There was previously an exclusive Nasus emote given away as part of Worlds 2022 last year.

“Some drops have a limited number of rewards, while others are given to everyone watching. The quantities depend on the reward, so cross your fingers that you get lucky!” Riot added.

“Drops look and content might sometimes differ by region due to local agreements, laws, and regulations. Some viewers may receive one specific in-game item, whereas other lucky viewers may get another in-game item. Pay attention to the rarity of the card and good luck.”

Riot also said in a drops announcement post that it can be normal not to receive a drop for a day or two, or to obtain more than one drop in a single day.
