The Twitch Rivals winners from Twitchcon 2022 in Amsterdam have been announced, and they include those from Ultimate Challenge III, the Craftmaster Minecraft event and cosplay competitions.
After a two-year hiatus, TwitchCon 2022 returned last weekend, with thousands of people flying to Amsterdam to join streamers at the event celebrating internet culture and gaming.
TwitchCon 2022 in Amsterdam saw a two-day long Twitch Rivals competition taking place, pitting streamers up against one another in a series of physical challenges and gaming contests.
Nearly 14,000 Twitch community members attended TwitchCon Amsterdam, a more than 65% increase since TwitchCon Berlin 2019, Europe’s first TwitchCon.
Twitchcon also featured a host of UK talent including the likes of Frankie Ward, Iain Chambers, Darroch Brown, Geo, Ireland’s Dagda and more. Here’s a roundup of some of the Twitch Rivals tournaments and winners.
Twitch Rivals 2022: Craftmaster Live
This Minecraft LAN tournament was won by Team FalseSymmetry, led by UK streamer of the same name, FalseSymmetry, and also featuring OwengeJuiceTV, TapLHarV and IlluminaHD.
This competition featured 32 creators, a $50,000 prize pot, and all teams (1st-8th) went home with some prize money.
The competition consisted of six mini games, most of which the teams had never seen before as TubNet and noName Studios had modelled the arena on the city of Amsterdam and the RAI convention centre.
Second place went to soyvioletag, Perxitaa, MYMALK4PON3 and Wereverwero.
Twitch Rivals: Ultimate Challenge III
Twitch Rivals Ultimate Challenge III saw streamer duo’s face-off in IRL challenge games from Don’t Wake Nanny and Streamer Stew (formerly Pots & Paella).
The challenge saw duo Tonton and Jeel beat Skyyart and TheGuill84 in a face to face battle on the Rivals stage.
Physical challenges included ‘Don’t Wake Nanny’, where teams had to build towers as tall as possible while the Nanny was away, but be tucked up in bed when she sporadically returned and ‘Streamer Stew’, where the teams were scored on where the items they threw landed – kitchen table to the stove.

PC challenges included games like Overcooked and Trackmania, before going head-to-head in ‘The Last Drop’ – a water-based game that requires skill, a steady hand and held breath.
Twitch Rivals: G2 Thijs Tavern
This Hearthstone event led by Thijs was won by Feno, with Jarla in second place and Zorgo winner of the Battlegrounds event.
Cosplay Contest at Twitchcon 2022

Cosplayers from all over Europe hit the TwitchCon stage to compete for the top spot in various cosplay categories from needlework to armour.
Hosted by GeekyCassie and FarbenFuchs and with the help of a panel of expert cosplay judges including KamuiCosplay, the grand winners of the TwitchCon Cosplay Contest were chosen.
Some of the winners included Dianae_Cosplay who took first place as winner of best needlework with their creation of Cinderella’s dress.
Searsha_craft won best armour with their costume inspired by Suki from the Last Airbender, and VilinaCosplay stole the show with their cosplay inspired by Warcraft and Diablo.
