Mark Weller, who previously helped with the Great Britain team at the Global Esports Games, is on board as team manager for Esports England.
“I’m confident we have some of the best esports players available in England, as well as in the individual games themselves, thanks to the team of Gregan, Ruby and TeaGuvnor, involved in our selection process.” said Mark Weller.
“The majority of our roster are already competing in professional leagues within their discipline, as well as representing professional organisations. I’m looking forward to winning medals, breaking stigmas, and creating a legacy for future generations interested in esports.”
“I’m delighted to see a diverse range of players representing Esports England and the Home Nations at the Commonwealth Games,” added Chester King, CEO of British Esports.
“I hope we create a legacy for all younger generations leading to a future Home Nations Series for our players to compete in.”
