Could we see the likes of James Banks, Frankie Ward, Machine and more getting their own trading cards in the future?
That’s what Kolex Trading Cards (formerly known as Epics Collectibles before its recent rebrand) is looking into. It may launch an esports talent trading card set in the future, allowing fans to collect their favourite casters, hosts and analysts.
Esports News UK reached out to Kolex recently, curious as to whether there are any UK player cards in its collection.
Kolex responded:
The move would make sense, considering Kolex previously launched a separate influencer set a couple of years ago, featuring streamers like Shroud and Dr. Lupo.
Kolex offers both physical packs and digital cards, currently in two games: CSGO and PUBG Mobile.
It recently launched the CSGO Season 2022 Katowice Edition Official NFT Trading Cards.
UK CSGO players Mezii, Alex and Smooya have Fnatic branding on their cards, as the trio played together last year.

Mezii and Alex are still with Fnatic, while Smooya was benched by Fnatic earlier this year before UK organisation Into the Breach signed Smooya.
And earlier this month, Smooya won his first Insomnia CSGO LAN with Into the Breach.
There are also other earlier versions of the player cards, including Smooya BIG ones and Alex Vitality cards:
Kolex says that every card is unique with its own mint number, showing the batch and the order it was printed within the batch. Lower numbers like A1 are more sought-after as they’re the first card printed.
Collectors can redeem their cards in a mobile app and use twin cards to build a roster and compete against other collectors on the global leaderboards.
Epics.GG was founded in 2017 in Los Angeles and rebranded to Kolex in February 2022.
