The Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice CSGO broadcast talent/caster line-up has been revealed.
From the UK, Freya Spiers is on board as desk host and Allan Hender as an analyst. Then, of the ten casters, five are from the UK – there’s Hugo Byron, JustHarry, Dinko, Hawka and Wolfy6678.
The observer, Rushly, is also from the UK, as are the observers for the second broadcast – ItsRandall and Zarx, according to Liquipedia’s IEM 16 page.
UK esports host Frankie Ward said on Twitter that the line-up is a great mix of newcomers and more experienced talent:
The latest IEM CSGO event has kicked off in Poland’s Spodek arena today (February 15th 2022) and will feature a live audience. It features a $1m prize pool and 24 of the world’s top CSGO teams including Navi, Liquid, Astralis, Vitality, G2 and Fnatic.
The only UK players participating in the tournament are Fnatic’s UK trio of smooya, Alex and Mezii.

Last month, tournament organiser ESL celebrated ten years of IEM.
“This event represents a dream come true to everyone that wanted to build esports into something bigger and unforgettable memories shared by fans and players,” said Michal ‘Carmac’ Blicharz, VP of product development at ESL.
“We are proud to be coming to Katowice again as an in-person competition and we are so looking forward to celebrating the commemorative anniversary together.”

IEM Katowice 2022 is also hosting the StarCraft II EPT Championship, where 36 players from around the world will battle it out for their share of a $500,000 prize pool.
