UK esports organisation MNM Gaming have once again excelled in Rainbow Six Siege – this time qualifying for the European League (EUL).
They beat Hellraisers 3-1 in an entertaining Challenger League final yesterday to progress. Hellraisers took the first game 8-7 on Coastline, but MNM proceeded to win three straight games – 8-6, 7-3 and 7-5 – to take the victory.
MNM will now play in the European League for the 2022 season, alongside European heavyweights including G2, Navi, Rogue, BDS, Vitality, Virtus.Pro, Cowana, Team Empire and one more to be confirmed – the winner of the relegation match between Hellraisers and Team Secret on December 18th 2021.
MNM Gaming have enjoyed success in Siege in recent years, having qualified for top-tier tournaments and sold a few rosters to bigger orgs, including the sale of MNM’s 2019 Siege roster to Navi.
However, the org’s co-founder Kalvin ‘KalKal’ Chung, said the spot will not be sold this time and that in 2022 MNM ‘will be like nothing you’ve ever seen’.
“We’re going to support the team till the end, stay in the EUL and get that charm,” he also recently said.
Kalvin told Esports News UK: “We will be building a space for ourselves in London to push forward the UK esports industry. Working on MNM, DLC and previous companies have taught me a lot and in the past few years I have been fortunate enough to work as talent, management, creative director and so much more for various brands, tournament organisers and even franchise teams.
“The timing is right to take everything I have learnt and push MNM to the next level. If all goes to plan then 2022 will be our year.”

MNM Croatian player Nelo, who previously won the Siege Pro League with Navi‘s ex-MNM roster, said after the win: “It means a hell of a lot. I’ve had rough times inside and outside of the game, but coming back, getting a completely new team and proving that I deserve to be here just speaks for itself.
“This team has trust in each other, we work really hard as well, the boys are just insane. All the hard work we’ve been putting in has been paying off.
“I’ve played in EUL before and I couldn’t give a shit about any other teams in that league, to be honest. We’re going to play, prepare and win.”
neLo also gave a shoutout to his family and girlfriend on stream, and opened up to some hardships he’s been through, including his parents and grandmother passing away.
Other MNM players include Yuzus (UK), Tyrant (UK), Neonical (UK) and Solotov (Turkey).
The news comes after MNM Gaming reached the Rainbow Six Siege European League promotion/relegation stage after storming the Challenger League.
UK casters Dezachu and AceOfPyrite also congratulated MNM on their achievement:
